He moved to clear them from his front, and everybody alongside him decided that someone must have ordered an attack. Frederick then failed to call them back. That's what happened historically, not in the game. Ended up getting Manstein killed, ultimately.

If it had happened in game, it would have been due to the Rash Attack result from the Advanced Command Determination, yes. I was actually kind of hoping it would.

These are all being done using my phone camera, hand held. On a couple I've turned on Youtube's stabilization filter but not so much on the last couple. It tends to blur the counters a lot.
Doug Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14782846735047080442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1398141406477470157.post-65234908620385029722016-08-02T11:53:18.407-04:002016-08-02T11:53:18.407-04:00Cool. I've noticed no shaking or very little. The Prussians progress in the attack on the Coalition right are probably about two hours behind where they were historically. Those guys with the green stripe on the counters ought to be hitting Weid's guys (Austrians with green stripe) on top of the hill, as well as being hit in the flank by that Coalition heavy cav that's in support. Hulsen's Prussians (pale yellow stripe) ought to be having trouble holding on to the town.

More importantly, the rest of the Prussian center and right, courtesy of Croat sniping and the actions of a Prussian general named Manstein should have launched a rash attack against the Coalition center up on that high hill. Because that didn't happen in this game, infantry losses, particularly for the Prussians, are very light.

This is probably going to be an inconclusive fight. Morale and losses are about equal. Almost all the serious losses on both sides are hussars. The last two turns might be interesting, but I'm not sure there's enough time to make a huge difference.
Doug Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14782846735047080442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1398141406477470157.post-37507759889018234212016-08-02T11:02:22.287-04:002016-08-02T11:02:22.287-04:00Interested to see how it turns out.
